What We Need
Funds
As we are a nonprofit organization, it is up to you! Your donations are what keep us running so please: donate to help the Javan Rhinos!
Where is it Going?
To break it down, the money that has been collected goes to our awareness programs and our upcoming preserve. For more information on the preserve, please click here.
To sustain our group, we need about $100,000 to support our staff of professionals.
The land itself will cost $45,000 - construction of the facility will cost around $200,000.
Construction includes a research building and the labor costs needed to remove hazards in the new land.
We will airlift select rhinos from the UKNP into the newly built facility; this will involve both sedatives and air lifts, bringing a total of around $45,100.
As the Javan Rhinos are oftenly poached, the preserve will have anti-poaching guards and technology to assist. Monthly, the maintaince fee is a total of $1000; this is enough to hire and train the guards.
The approximate grand total needed for the establishment of the new facility will be $391,100.
For futher maintenance, food and annual staff fees will accumulate 165,000 to the total.
This brings the grand total to about $556,100.
